Description

A small-ish, quiet area not far from l'Éléphant yet off the beaten track. The rock can be a bit brittle so do not climb unless it's completely dry. The best problems here tend to be on the hard side (7A and above) while the easy ones are often lichened.

Getting There

From Larchant (SW of Fontainebleau), follow signs to Éléphant/Dame Jouanne. FYou'll pass the Éléphant sector on before you see a signed carpark on your left (Bois d'Hyver). Park here. Follow Route de Bois d'Hyver going west for about 200 yards then turn right onto a track. Take the second path left up a hill that follows a marked blue trail.
