Description [Suggest Change]
A good area for a few days stop. Some unique climbing on gneiss rock mostly sport Climbing with routes from 5.4 to 5.13-. Runouts are common on easy terrain however there are very few dangerous routes. There are many well protected climbs around 5.10 to 5.11. This is a fun area and worth checking out. Camping in the field in front of the pub is popular and the pub serves as a great starting and ending point for the day. Lots of Czech climbing history can be found here. The first climbs here were pit up in the 40's.
Getting There [Suggest Change]
From the town of beřichov follow the signs to park at the end of the village. Don't drive all the way up the hill! Park in the designated area and start walking up the paved road to the left trending NW follow the road for 2-300 meters and take off right on the well traveled trail through the forest. About one mile up the trail you will come to a clearing at the top of the hill with a large pub. The rocks will be hidden by the forest to your right, you can see the summits from the middle of the clearing. Ask whoever is working in the pub for the climbing guide and the will let you borrow the pubs copy.
