Description Suggest change

The western side of this rock is more delicate - the rock is more likely to break. Be careful to not grab any delicate pieces if you choose to climb on that side as to preserve the rock and also prevent needless falls.

The eastern side is far more sturdy and has some good grip work for beginners. It's a long wall and has a lot of area to play around and work on outdoor technique. It can be pretty hot in early to mid-day with the sun beating down, so plan accordingly.

We've climbed here a few times with no issues. There are plenty of mountain bikers around, but it's not a problem.

Getting There Suggest change

It's a very short walk across the pedestrian bridge from the S. Rooney Road parking lot for Green Mountain. It will be directly on your left when you cross the bridge. You can't miss it.
