Description Suggest change

Large quantity of untapped boulders right next to Dutch John. As far as I know the bouldering here is undone, if anyone has more info please let me know. The rock is quartzidic sandstone similar to the type at the cart bridge boulders. As with the other rock here, the boulders heat up quickly in the summer sun so morning and afternoons are best this time of year. There is also some potential to bolt short bouldery sport climbs or climb bold highballs, depending on ones preference and budget.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at Dutch John Resort and hike towards 30 mph sign across the road. Once you reach the sign continue up the slickrock and head southeast. There are a few cairns once you reach halfway which should take you to the high point of the boulder field.
