Description

Mica Basin is the best jump off point for Agnes, The Sawtooth Range, and Mt. Zirkel. At 10,428', just getting to this beautiful setting can be an adventure early in the season.

Getting There

From the Slavonia Trailhead parking area, take the Gilpin Lake Trail for 1.5 miles, then follow the Mica Basin trail north for another 2.7 miles. The elevation gain is 2,200'.
