Description

South facing Malapai cliff face. Great crag with some super fun lines! It's climbable through the winter as long as it's sunny and through the summer except on the hottest days. Mostly trad or top rope but more sport routes to come.

Getting There

Take Hwy 77 north out of Show Low or South out of Snowflake. Just north of the small town of Shumway, about halfway between mp 354 and 355 you'll see a dirt road leading west. There is a large Boulder that tells you you're on the right road. Follow the road up to the dam and to a parking area. Follow the obvious road/path up to the crag. Look for the classy graffiti by Lyle and Jessica (thanks guys!) Super easy approach.
