Access Issue: Illegal and X rated Details

Buildering is a dangerous and illegal activity that can result in serious injury and/or death. The climbing featured in these area shouldn't be attempted unless you want jail time and hospital bills.

Description

The University Memorial Center features some textured climbs similar to to those in the Engineering Center on its northern side, although of much less quantity. There are also some recently constructed (Summer 2012) climbs through the bridge that are much more stout and will really give you a run for your money!

Getting There

Heading North on Broadway, the UMC is on your right at the Broadway/Euclid intersection. Parking around here is difficult to find especially for free, it's recommended that you walk or ride a bike. I mean, come on this is Boulder, fossil fuels are definitely in the past....

Facilites

UMC offers numerous facilities for the average student, homeless person, or builderer.

The CU Alpine Club (UMC 443):

this is a student run, climbing club open for anyone not just students. They run weekend trips most of the year, discounted gym memberships, offer gear rentals, and have a huge guidebook library. 1 year for $20, 5 years for $50.
