Description Suggest change

This is the far bank of the river, and it is the wildest part of the climbing at Amidon. There are many freestanding boulders scattered all over the hillside and several large cliff lines that offer roofs, slabs, and everything in between. I would bring a rope along to work, and clean, most of these new problems.

Getting There Suggest change

If coming from the main parking, follow the loop trail into the River Right area of the Secret Valley until you pass most of the boulders on the right side. This will be around a half mile walk down the trail. At this point you'll need to find a safe place to cross the river. During low water this is not a problem. The boulders and cliff lines are then scattered all over the hillside with some awesome cliffs close to the bottom and more freestanding boulders near the top.

If coming from Parking Lot #3, head upstream. Coming this direction, you'll hit the Beneathaverse, a 100+ foot section of overhanging roof and slab after approximately 5 minutes of hiking. The next section of climbing, the Grumpies, are approximately 1 minute upstream and 1-2 minutes uphill. All other parts of River Left are 10-15 minutes upstream.
