Description Suggest change

An often neglected area, it happens to have great rock quality and a good flat landing. Home to a great V6 traverse.

Getting There Suggest change

Standard approach is to hike up canyon from Leo Carrillo beach/ campground. You can either park in the campground lot or on the street and walk through.

Another quicker approach is to park on Mulholland where it crosses the creek and hike back down the creek to the rocks. It is currently wide open and a much easier hike due to the streambed being cleared of brush from the strong rains that washed away most of the brush in the creek. Hiking time is a tad under 10 minutes which is faster than coming from Leo Carrillo beach.
