Description
A quality block of streaked limestone, The Cooler is a great little stop on a hot summer day and has been a repeated destination when underestimating the time it takes to get to Vanishing Point. A nice place to start or end if doing a two day trip.
Getting There
Once parked across the meadow, follow a faint trail that climbs the hill to the north. Once at the top of the hill, descend to the base of the cirque and work your way east along Frazier Lake.. From here the Cooler is easily reached by walking down and right on faint trails towards the prominent limestone block.
