Description
The Tsunami Walls and Ranger/Yogi Bear areas host some of the better Limestone in the area. Quality is still hit or miss, though it is a place to go explore if you want a change of pace from the popular sandstone area. Bill Dockins and Tom Kalakay's "Bozeman Rock Climbs 3rd edition" covers this area extensively.
Getting There
About a 10-15 min approach from the bridge crossing on the main Bear Canyon trail, the Tsunami walls are nestled Between Yogi Bear and Hidden Spire area. On the left, when traveling up the Forest Service trail, there is a well-used cut off that jogs left just before two steep, short switchbacks. This is about 2-3 minutes past the Ant Wall cut-off, which heads left into a little notch.
