WET ROCK: Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB IN MOAB during or after rain.
RAPTOR CLOSURES: please be aware of seasonal raptor closures. They occur annually in the spring.

Description
This is a smaller but varied area of quality sandstone with great landings on the eastern-most side of Utah, a few miles from Gateway, Colorado. The quality is great, the landings are naturally good with a lot of the boulders and you're secluded from the crowds (minus those staying at Gateway Canyon Resorts who are driving around).
Getting There
From Gateway, Colorado, turn into the Gateway Canyon Resort. Drive through the parking lots, behind the resort until you get to a dirt road. This is 4.1 road. Take a right onto 4.1 road. You will be on the left side of the Dolores River. Go until you get to the state line, which in this case is a large gate. Move through the gate into Utah and drive 1.6 miles (according to Google Maps). There is a pull off in a cluster of boulders. There are boulders prior to the pull as well and up through the wash.
