Description
Great rock, a number of excellent lines varying in difficulty, and a beautiful pastoral setting make Dragon City well worth any visiting climbers time. This crag is a newer addition to Yangshuo, and is not (yet) as polished as some of the more established areas. It can be sharp, and occasionally dirty on the less trafficked lines. There's not much loose rock, but helmets are a good idea as many of the lines have not yet seen many ascents.
The crag is in the sun all day, without too many shaded belay spots.
Getting There
Head South out of town as for the Wine Bottle area, heading across the Yu Long river. Keep going for about a mile after the crossing, and look on your right for a 'traditional' Chinese style building set back from the road about 100 feet. Directly across the street from this building, there is a narrow dirt road. Turn left on to this and follow it until you cross a culvert. Here the road splits in to three. Take the middle track (the most obvious), passing a small orchard/garden on your left. After a quarter mile or so, the path passes beneath the cliff and you will see another orchard. Take a left and enter the orchard, walking through it and then up to the base of the cliff (as of Dec 2016 there was a cairn marking the turn in to the orchard).
