Description
This crag is located in Area 51 above Solomon Lake. The wall is a single pitch playground of moderate routes that still needs hardware. There are also many fun trad lines to be had above the glacier in the back of the valley.
Getting There
From the John Hunter Memorial Trail head located DayVille Road you will hike up a access road leading to the berried pipeline .3 miles. Turn right on the pipeline pad and climb to the top of a hill and take a left at the junction that will take you to the power lines. At the power line intersection you will break away from the utilities and bushwhack up an old trail up the left shoulder of Benzene Peak (the mountain east of Solomon Lake) This will bring you to Area 51 (The large bench above Solomon Lake). Hike back through the alpine for another couple miles and you will see a small single pitch wall on the east side of the stream that flows along this valley. If you continue back another mile you will start to come across alpine lines that are scattered around the peaks near the glacier located at the back of the valley.
