It was the most important crag in the 1919 Hefty-Vigyázó guidebook, today it is a legendary climbing place. Generations of climbers have learned the basics of climbing here. On the three walls there are around 50 looked-for routes, but there is just has many neglected ones. Most of them are face climbs on perfect limestone. Oszoly is popular for it's vast variety of moderate routes (V-VI).

Getting There Suggest change

Take the HÉV from Batthyány square as far as Pomáz (30 min). From there take the bus to Csobánka, then walk 20 minutes to the visible cliffs. By car: Budapest-Pomáz-Csobánka, turn left at the small square and drive to the parking place below the cliffs (water).
