Description Suggest change

One of the outlying crags around Nairobi, it features 1-2 pitch routes on massive, featured columnar basalt. The good climbing combines steep, well-protected crack lines, deep chimneys, and featured face climbing. The less-traveled climbing can be considered dangerous and the rock should be carefully evaluated. Numerous accidents in recent years have shown that the easier lines should be approached with a good degree of caution and conservative risk assessment.

Getting There Suggest change

A bit hard to find and access is sensitive, so contact the Mountain Club of Kenya before going. Roughly 1.5 hours outside Nairobi, a good chunk of it on rough road.

The road is difficult to pass when wet. Camping is among boulders at the base.
