Description Suggest change

Petit Bois is one of the few areas that can be accessed by foot from a train station. It's also one of the most shaded, which makes it a good option for the warmer months but means that many problems are too lichened to climb. You can also expect lots of mosquitoes.

It is an interesting option for groups of mixed abilities as it has yellow, orange, blue, red and black circuits.

This area can be quite popular as it is very child-friendly and does have a few hard classics: Big Jim (a tall and committing 6C), Big dragon (8A/+, FA David Graham), L’œuf (7B), La baleine (7A)...

Getting There Suggest change

If you are staying in Nemours this is a very convenient area.Take D403 west out of Nemours and turn right on D98. Turn left at the first left which should be Chemen de la Messe. Continue on that road through the round about, right after you leave town there are farm fields on your right. When the road forks, take the smaller left fork and park right after the fork in the road. Walk south up the hill to the boulders. From downtown Nemours it is only 2 kilometers to the parking area so it is possible to walk.
