Description

This pair of aesthetic spires is perched up on a hill about 400 yards North of the Torch. Old Roughie is to the East and Old Smoothie is to the West. Old Smoothie is the taller of the pair, is split by several horizontal cracks, and has an almost spherical summit. Old Roughie has two distinct summits that are easily reached, Old Smoothie is a lot trickier.

The summit of Portal Peak offers a great view of these eye-catching spires.
