Mix Up Peak Rock Climbing

Park in the Cascade Pass parking lot and take the Cascade Pass trail. At the pass go left (South) to the start of the Ptarmigan Traverse. When you reach the Cache Glacier aim for the V-Notch Gully on the right. The climb goes up the gully and down the south side approx 100ft. Gain the South East face (Class 4) via ramps and proceed up the gully until you reach the saddle and the start of the "White Staircase"(Exposed Class 3)Angle up and to the right side of the summit and look for a notch in the ridge. The climbing starts about 100ft below the summit and is mid class 5. 5 rappels will get you down the route climbed and a 60M rope is long enough.
