2. The south end of the First Corridor is in danger of collapsing at the base of Sophie’s Choice. A dam of rocks and soil has been built to divert water away from the eroding soil underneath these huge boulders. Please help keep this system in place until a more permanent solution is implemented.
Description
Port Royal was a haven for the Pirates and Buccaneers of the 17th century Spanish Main. This outcrop hosts steep pocketed and featured sport routes, albeit "crunchy" due to lack of traffic. While relatively short and thuggish to access Port Royal is an excellent summer destination or modern day haven from the hustle and crowds in the First Corridor, as it is shady most of the day, in a grassy glade.
