Description Suggest change

Small area off of the Branford shoreline trail near stony creek(east). It is near the Reed Preserve and Hoadley creek. There are a couple of unclimbed faces right on the trail as well. The sunny/low tide wall faces Reed Preserve and requires a tarp to keep the pad on, the bunny boulder is as classic as it looks with decent landings all around.

Getting There Suggest change

This area is off of Leetes Island rd(146) coming from Stony creek. Its about halfway between Quarry road and Moosehill on the right. You'll see a farm and shortly after, a pullout for parking on the right. The entrance to the trail is in the parknig lot.

You can see the Branford trail and where it intersects with Leetes Island road on google maps.

UPDATED: Directions to the Bunny Boulder: Arrive at a dirt parking lot at the coordinates 41°16'02.6" N 72°44'02.8" W (You can also park at the Jarvis Creek Farm parking lot, which is along Leetes Island Rd. If you park here, follow the dirt path up the hill and locate the dirt parking lot referenced). Facing the opposite direction of the parking lot, in the direction of the train tracks (should be about southwest), following a crude dirt path, which runs parallel to train tracks. Following this path, you'll end up under the train tracks, which leads to a fork in the path. Turn right here, and then about 40 feet later turn left down the first dirt path you see. Follow this path for about 4-5 minutes, and eventually you'll see the boulder on your left.  The cords of this boulder are approx 41.2629468, -72.7369423
