Under the liability insurance of the FQME
Residents of Canada need to have:
-FQME 'Accès Montagne' membership (55$)
-For members of the Alpine Club of Canada an FQME 'Accès Montagne' upgrade (30$)
Or purchasing a 10$ day pass.

This money is used to pay the liability insurance for landowners regardless if they are private citizens, municipal or provincial.
The maintenance of cliffs and their access, replacing of fixed protection.

Description

Really easy access crag site to get a little workout or initiate people. A lot of roof in there! Since it it less then 30 minutes to reach the area, this is also a primary site for climbing school.

Beware, this site is share with the Transports Minister of Quebec and there are some rules.

rock climbing can only be practice during daytime;
No spectator or hiker is allowed on the site;
pets are not allowed;
it is prohibited to circulate around the site except in the climbing area, parking area and the trail that link the two;
the access by route is permitted only by vehicle, by a motorcycle with a motor, with displacement of minimum 125 cm or a moped. Thus, cant access the site by walking or by bicycle.
it is prohibited to immobilise, park or rewind on the access road of the site

Petit mur très facile avec quelque vois plus difficile, mais ça reste lendroit idéal pour initier vos amis et pour y travailler vos toits. Cest un site de choix pour les écoles de grimpe de la ville de Québec.

Il est important de respecter les restrictions définies par le Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ), propriétaire du site, dont :

l'escalade de rocher doit être pratiquée uniquement pendant la période diurne;
aucun spectateur ou randonneur n'est admis au site le Pylône;
les animaux domestiques ne sont pas tolérés;
il est interdit de circuler ailleurs que sur le site d'escalade du Pylône, la zone de stationnement et le sentier qui les relie;
l'accès à partir de la route y est permis uniquement par véhicule routier, autre qu'une motocyclette munie d'un moteur, d'une cylindrée d'au plus 125 cm, ou qu'un cyclomoteur. Ainsi, aucun cycliste ou piéton ne peut y accéder.
il est interdit de s'immobiliser, de se stationner ou de faire marche arrière sur la route permettant d'accéder aux lieux

From 73 North, take exit 136 and right in the exit turn left to enter the parking lot.

From 73 South, take exit 132 (Boul. Champlain) and at the stop, turn left. The parking lot will be on your right.
