Description
Excellent limestone boulders located in a maze of rock on the campus of Columbia College.
Getting There
Park on the campus of Columbia College. Follow signs to the college auto shop. Walk behind the auto shop on a gravel path towards the observatory. At the 5th light post, turn left at an electrical box on the ground. Follow a climber's trail into the maze of rocks.Note that parking on campus during the week requires buying a $2 permit. This is also where most of the Mountain Lion sightings are. Also watch out for rattlesnakes because it's harder to see them coming compared to navigating the Lower Aboretum. Bad spot to go during the summer due to heat and poison oak.
