Description

Mars Rock

is the second of two obvious domes located to the south of Moon Rock. One can find a number of interesting routes at this extra-terrestrial area. The alcove of Mars Rock consists of traditional lines as well as sport routes, and the grades currently range from 5.6 to 5.10.

Expect a quick, five minute jaunt to gain the short and steep, black and tan streaked crag.

Getting There

Located across from the main approach road, Drive between the two fairly obvious domes, and take a dirt road that leads you south. From here aim towards the east side of the formation. Park where you can, and hike around the east (left) side of the dome.
