Description
Kaleidoscope Wall has the best intermediate climbing on Grand Mesa, offering the longest routes, easiest kid and dog friendly approach, good rock, and a beautiful setting. The left side has steep mixed and sport lines while the right has mellower trad lines with typical Grand Mesa excitement and spice.
Getting There
From the "Y" at the top of Land's End Road, continue 3.3 miles east, and park at a large asphalt pulloff on the right. Hike down FS trail 705 for ~5-7 minutes passing several switchbacks to an old, mostly dead pine tree at the end of a long straightaway. From the pine tree, head toward the obvious cliff following the primitive trail.
