Allow 45 minutes for the approach. From the Power Dome parking area at the Geological Interpretive display contour down and across the creek and follow the ridge and through the notch. Contour right around a hill and through another notch. Drop down sharply left and move right around to the south face. The dome lies southeast of Power Dome, on the east side of Helms Creek.
