Description
Mix of sun and shade. These tend to be short routes (10m), with a mix of top rope, trad and sport climbs available. Can be crowded as this is the most easily accessible area in Whitehorse. The rock is mostly granite of great quality.
Getting There
See the map for a .gpx route for the trail. Can be viewed on your favourite GPS app or on MountainProject via the app or mobile browser.
Go up Robert Service and turn right at the roundabout after you pass the Alaska Highway. Park at the first parking lot on your right (60.684195736576186, -135.07225299709128). Take the trailhead that leads left (although you can also head right and go an easier way that follows orange flagging), there is a trail that forks right eventually toward more open trees, head this way. You should pass a bench at the rim of the canyon eventually, if you keep heading left further into the woods, you are going the wrong way. There are two descents, one leading to the lower gardens and one leading to the upper. For the main area (Grand Central) continue following the trail by the rim, heading toward Whitehorse.
