Description
This little ridge has lots of stone and some sweet views. The vast majority of the boulders/formations are not appealing for climbing, however some (very few unfortunately) are.
The very popular "Sunset Rocks Trail" traverses the majority of the ridges top. From the Sunset Rocks overlook it is just a stone's throw to the incredibly beautiful Valhalla Boulder and some quality (not quantity!) climbing.

Getting There
The fun/long way:
From the iron furnace/stacks parking lot at Pine Grove Furnace SP, head West (technically South on the AT) on the Appalachian Trail (AT) until you run into Toms Run (depending on your pace it'll take you 20-40 minutes). At this intersection there is a trail that veers left (uphill) that is the "Sunset Rocks" trail (marked with blue blazes). Take this trail to the top of the ridge, you are now on top of Little Rocky Ridge.
The easy way:
From the 233 turn onto Old Shippensburg road (very near the AT Museum) and follow it to its end. Park here and you'll see and obvious trail at the roads end; follow this for a few seconds and you'll be at the AT/Sunset Rocks Trail intersection. Follow the blue blazes to the top of ridge. 5-10 minutes from the car to the ridge top.
Once you are on the ridge top the trail will split left and right. Follow the trail left to get to the Sunset Rocks overlook; the trail dead ends at the overlook. Follow it right to keep on the full trail and along the ridge top.
