Description Suggest change

All along the first mile of the South Kaibab Trail there is loads of good to great cragging to be had. Mostly adventurous traditional routes. The rock is poor to great quality sandstone and limestone with single and multi pitch routes.

Getting There Suggest change

South Rim along the South Kaibab Trail. From Grand Canyon Village drive east on Desert View Drive a few miles to get dropped off or take the Orange shuttle to South Kaibab TrailHead. Hike down the trail one mile and the South Kaibab Wall will appear on your right to the east. Most routes will top out on the rim. Have fun and be safe.
