The park or broad valley extends across a mild saddle which is very near the Albany County/Converse County boundary. Rock Formations Everywhere are scattered along the valley sides. Stream flowing south end up in La Bonte Creek and those going north either flow into West La Bonte Creek or if further north they likely are drained by the Wagon Hound Creek.
