Description Suggest change

The granite domes of the Haystack Peaks Region are the largest group of rocks mounds on the lower east face of Laramie Peak. Because they lie at the point of inflexion of the Laramie Peak Side with the valley and are quite big, they are thought of as something more substantial than would merely be included as rocks on the area: Laramie Peak and Sides.

Getting There Suggest change

There are 2 ways to get to the Haystack Peaks, both of which are off the Cottonwood Park Rd and approach the east side of Laramie Peak. One way is driving and hiking on public land and the other incorporates some fee charging private land but the hike is somewhat shorter and the fee includes camping.

See MAP 1 for more details.
