Description

Rarely climbed, strong sun from late morning to late afternoon.

Getting There

Enter at Spyglass. Walk downhill from Taco Deli, turn right walk about ten minutes. The Random Wall is the first wall encountered when approaching from the Spyglass entrance.

Technically, there are 4 routes here but 2 of them aren't climbed.

Tiddleywicks is an unbolted, unprotected 5.9X and Gun Smoke is a 4 bolt 5.10 with an awful belay position that exposes the belayer to rock fall as the first 12 feet is always loose and dirty and there is no where else to stand except in the path of the debris. Additionally, this route does not have the typical sport anchors found on most Austin routes. It doesn't get climbed.

Walk up a series of limestone 'steps' on your right, The route on the right, four bolts, is a stout 5.9, Hank's. The route on the left ( Save A Bolt) is a 5.10d, five bolts, crux in last eight feet.
