DescriptionThis is the small secluded "canyon" located on the west facing slope of the Main Canyon. It includes both east and west facing short cliffs. The west side has a couple good quality routes on great rock, and the east side a few slabby face climbs at the south end, and some harder sport climbing to the north.
Getting ThereEasiest approach is from the county road to the north (an indistinct climbers trail begins across from the driveway up the North Canyon, or better yet, park at the small turnout on the south side of the main road where the creek goes under the road). The hike in from the north is 20 minuets, a bit less than a mile
It's also possible to approach from the SE, from the large gully between the Main and South Canyons.
It is also possible to approach from the Janis Bridge Rd in the valley to the SW. Park at the edge of the orchard and hike along deer trails diagonally up the slope. This is the shortest route distance and time wise (15 minutes) , but not the easiest...
