Description

In the shade all day long, overlooking the village of Suchand. In a cutout of the side of the mountain. Fall was frozen from the middle of December. First climb on December 22. I'm sure it could have been climbed earlier. There is possibility of the fall having an upper section develop throughout the winter, and there is also a possibility of more falls further up the little canyon. It was hard to see as the canyon curves tightly to the right after the top of the first section.

Getting There

Take a tangem or taxi from Khorog to Suchand, should take around 20 minutes max. Cost ~ 20 Somoni for 3 people. You should be able to see the fall from the road, it is on the right(south) side of the road. Walk across the main foot bridge in the village over the river, and through the village up the hill to the fall. Best approach is right of the fall, there are some paths most of the way up, and then theres a little bit of scrambling over a talus slope to get to the falls. Approach is around 20 minutes
