Sucre is a sweet place to chill out during the Cordillera off-season, brush up your español, and get your climb on. It is temperate year round with unbelievable geology ...aka...good times.

Plan to stay longer than you thought and bring steel Chapas (as good as currency)! Super bueno local and expat climbers in Sucre.

Getting There

Sucre can be reached by bus or train from any major town in Bolivia. A good base destination between La Paz and the Salt Flats/Atacama or Argentinian Border.
