Description Suggest change

Pronounced Big Butt, this is the large south facing cliff at mid level (just west of the unburned fir and pine valley), prominently visible NE of and directly behind the fruit stand on Hwy 97. The cliff has a variety of exposures;
East Face - sun in the morning, shaded in the afternoon.
South Face - sun all day with a flat grassy - very group/family friendly - base.
West Face - shaded in the morning, hot all afternoon...

Getting There Suggest change

Fastest most direct approach from the SW involves crossing private orchard land (ask for permission first!). Approach time about 20 minute.

A longer approach from the Whistler Canyon Trailhead to the north (1+ hours) is possible.
