Description

This indoor climbing wall isn't meant to compete with those in larger cities; it does, however, afford people in Nome the opportunity to get a little workout. It's possible that this is the northernmost climbing wall in the U.S.

The recreation department has climbing shoes and harnesses available if you forgot yours.

There are also pool, sauna, weight room, gym and shower facilities available in the building.

The climbing wall is located inside the Parks & Recreation Department building at 208 East 6th Avenue in Nome. Telephone 907/443-6645.
