Description Suggest change

Mount Harwood is a peaceful and extremely windy peak just east of Baldy. Not a heck of a lot of people go here, so take that as an advantage to get away from the trekking-pole wielding helmet-people.

There are a handful of steep snow routes up the north face, and the northeast face provides a snow climb with a fair amount of rockfall danger. If doing this, please pay attention to the forecast and go fast!

Getting There Suggest change

Manker Canyon is probably the best approach from the south. If you want to do the northside routes, best way (with a high clearance vehicle) is through Lytle Creek on 3n06.
