The Rift Valley Bouldering

This is still a relatively new/old area. It recently became a protected natural space called Fieldcrest Park. There are a lot of new problems that need to be done here. I found this place in 2007 using a topo map. It is five minutes from downtown and about a 10 minute walk into the cliff. This area like many of the Mystic climbing areas is the perfect size cliff band. All the walls are very steep and like much of the other stuff in Mystic most would consider it highball. There are many more hard and difficult problems to be done. It contains two areas. A upper wall and a lower one with a large horizontal roof similar to the Y2k9 roof at the Hideaway. There is great potential here at this area for hard new problems.
