Description

Named after the outcrop at the top of the cliff (seen from the NE side), this is the first open cliff area a little ways up North Canyon, a 15-20 minute hike in from the parking area. The rock is cleaner and more solid than usual here and has a “boilerplate” look, but also has bands of broken brittle rock. A prominent pine tree is at the top of the cliff. A short 3rd class scramble to the North leads to the top.
