Description Suggest change

A series of five ~200' granite spires with a large concentration of easy to moderate routes across the valley from the Five Fingers. The rock quality is surprisingly quite solid and lacking the usual scaliness found elsewhere in Indian Wells. Most of the routes face south or west and have a lower elevation than Owen's Ridge, so summer can be hot. The area used to be a drive-up crag, but ever since the expansion of the Owen's Peak Wilderness, access is now a one-hour walk up an abandoned dirt road.

Getting There Suggest change

From Highway 14, take the turn into Indian Wells canyon. At 1.1 miles, take a left immediately after crossing the LA Aqueduct. Take a left at the "T", then an immediate right at the fork and continue for about another mile or so to the start of the closed road.
