The more sunny of the two side-by-side canyons in this area. Features some larger, more exposed walls of pocketed limestone.

Getting There
From Helena: Take Canyon Ferry Road (Hwy 430/284) East around North side of lake over the dam. Turn left on Hellgate Gulch Road. Drive time: 45 minutes.
From Bozeman: Take I-90 West to 287 North towards Helena. Turn right in Townsend on Hwy 12. Take a left on Hwy 284. Head north for about 25 miles. Turn right on Hellgate Gulch Road. Drive time: 1:15
