Description
The Bas-Saint-Laurent (Lower Saint-Lawrence) region is located along the south shore of the lower Saint Lawrence River in Quebec. This section includes all routes from La Pocatière (western border) to Ste-Flavie (eastern border).
The river widens at this place and became farther a bay who discharges itself in the sea and is often nicknamed "Bas-du-Fleuve" (Lower-River).
With a very diverse rock, from the excellent quarzite of L'amphithéâtre to the crumbling conglomerate of Rimouski, the Bas-St-Laurent is perfect for everyone. Almost. With the very scarce amount of cracks, most of the crags are purely sport, with the occasional.
