Description
This impressive crag sits above the small village of Vergisson and across the valley from nearby Solutré. The routes here are typically pretty sustained and can be up to 25m tall.
Due to its position at a very southerly point in Bourgogne and southerly and fully exposed aspect, it can become downright hot here some days. Nonetheless, the climbing is great and the rock isn't as polished as more northerly crags.

Getting There
Locate the small village of Vergisson directly west of Macon and just west of Davayé. Solutré garners a little more attention, so if you don't see a sign right away, you can also head towards Solutré because Vergisson neighbors Solutré. From the center of Vergisson, travel north towards Pierreclos and right at the end of the village you'll see a road turn sharply off to your right and head up to the crag. There is an obvious large parking area right next to the trail which leads up to the crag. The GPS coordinates point to this parking area.
