Access Issue: Climbing is Prohibited Details

December of 2024 Mountain Project received information that climbing has been prohibited for the past 2 years. Violations result in $250 fine. They have mounted trail cameras tp catch violators.

Description

Big slab boulder in the badlands in between the main hill of the back country with the majority of rock and the holey gully room of the Growth. Hard to miss if viewing area from a higher position. Looks somewhat like an arrow/arrowhead pointing south on google earth. North facing wall has 3 quality PG13 slab problems.

Getting There

Take the trail that winds through the back country boulder hill over to the next side. break left before trail drops down into small dry creek. Head north and you should run into this boulder.
