Description

The metasedmentary [mostly gneiss] ridge at the end of Elmers Road holds some of the best and most accessible climbing of the LRR. The climbing is mostly vertical on perfect rock with fascinating movement. There is quite a bit here for everyone from 5.6 to 5.13+. There is also some room for development on nearby formations. There is also a rad boulder field with some famous obscure classics in a low key location.

Getting There

Take 34 Southwest of Wheatland (or NE of Larime) until getting to Tunnel Rd. Then take Tunnel Rd. until it turns into dirt and pass the river and through a windy gulch until reaching Elmer Road on the right. Drive a few miles to the end of Elmer Road. AWD/4x4 recommended.
