Description

Sugar Loaf Dome is graceful sweeping white dome a short distance NE of tunnel Rd

Getting There

You can no longer drive to the base of this dome due to road closure. The approach road will dead end at a clearing marked by a large cattle tank made from a large old tractor tire. Park here. Find the old road (closure sign). Follow this for approximately 100 yards. The road continues left here and takes you to the west end of Sugar Loaf where you can 4th class to the summit. The road breaks right here and takes you to the approach trails for all climbing sections.
