Description
Moniflels is a short tower crouching in the monolithic shadows of Ypsiloterafels and Varlaamturm. Rarely climbed, and lacking in cobble-matrix integrity, it is unique for the ruins perched on top.
Getting There
From Kastraki, drive up the road until you reach the parking lot for Agios Nikolaos Anapafsas. Either park here and walk up the road or try to park in a small pullout on the left beside a small stream. Bushwhack your way up and left, skirting a wire fence, through tall grass, sharp bushes and shrubby trees until you are standing at the base of the south face.
