Climbing in the canyon is legal, but please maintain a low profile. Please leave no trace to minimize the chances of the park closing to climbers.

Description

This is the biggest boulder in the gardens with sides from apx. 12 ft to 40 ft all around. The rock is somewhat chossy with the bottom portions being the worse, however it still offers some nice climbing and a bolt exsists ontop just like on Two Pin.

Getting There

I find the best way to approach this boulder is from Two Pin. From Two Pin head NW down a runoff gully and in 10 mins or less you should see this mega rock to the west. If your coming more from Oreo and Dos Mas in the middle of the gardens head to Yogi and approach Vortex from behind.
