Per JF M: as of May 2022, there is no signage on-site, nor information on the USFS webpage for the Cameron Peak Fire (nor on their published map of closures) that indicates the area is closed.
Per Bruce Hildenbrand: it appears that the Forest Service has closed access to all the climbing areas accessed via Storm Mountain Road (Monastery, Cedar Park, Combat Rock, etc.) until they can clear all the dangerous dead trees from the Cameron Peak fire.
I worked this issue with Eric Murdock at the AF, and it looks like the Forest Service picked Devil's Gulch Road as the southern boundary even though all the climbing areas on MP.com were not burned.

Description
Basic Training Wall is located on the hillside 100 yards right of Combat Rock. It is a short wall (55 feet) that has most of the components required to climb on combat (smears, edges, seams, cracks, and a roof). All of the routes are bolted. It was difficult to find good anchor placements due to some of the loose nature of the rock at the top. The leftmost anchor is 6 feet back from the edge and is only usable as a TR with a long sling. Want an introduction to the type of climbing on Combat?, this will give you an idea.
Getting There
Take US Highway 34 from Loveland to Drake. Take County Road 43 (Glenhaven Road) to the right at Drake. After about a quarter of a mile, turn right on the forest access road that goes up to Cedar Park. Follow the road up thru the switchbacks. At the end of the last switchback lies the pullout for Combat Rock. Park here. Start down the Combat Rock trail and head up the other side as for approaching Combat. Go through a small rock band uphill towards the second, larger rock band. Just prior to this band, a faint trail heads uphill to the northwest. The wall is on the left about 100 yards uphill. There is a fallen ponderosa leaning on the left side of the wall, a fallen soldier from the Bobcat Fire back in 2002.
